Reserve Two for Murder at the Plaza!
The Plaza Theatre, on Monterey Square in Wharton, will be presenting the first stage production of its 2011-2012 Season, Reserve Two for Murder. This comedic murdermystery will be performed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from October 14-23, 2011. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30pm, with Sunday matinee performances beginning at 2:30pm.
It's not often audiences get to help solve a murder and laugh while doing it, but that's just what happens during this fast-paced comedic murder-mystery. With action taking place all over the auditorium, you won't know where to look next. Is the murderer sitting next to you? And who are those mysterious spies flitting about the theater? First presented to great acclaim on Broadway in 1939, this anything-but-ordinary mystery will draw you into
the action. Literally!
"To put on a show that is both a mystery and a comedy requires not only talented actors, but also precise timing and delivery of scenes," comments director Esther Bayazitoglu. "I continue to be amazed at the progress of this fantastic cast and am very pleased with where we are at with this stage production."
General admission is $10 and $8 for Seniors, Students, and groups of 10 or more. Plaza Theatre season ticket holders are reminded they can use their season tickets for this event. Ticket reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by calling the box office at 979-282-2226 or online at whartonplazatheatre.org.
